This shot was taken at Whistler's BMX trails the day after the "Air Downhill "race.
The Air Downhill was an alternate event for the cancelled World Cup DH and Dual
that was supposed to be at Grouse Mountain, Vancouver, BC.
Many of the top Downhillers in the world were there to race down "A-Line",
a trail with 1200ft vertical drop and 60 jumps, berms, and rock drops,
all down a narrow trail through the trees. I still have a grin on my face and can't wait to get back!
I just happened to park next to the trails with my family the next day and noticed Anne jumping...
.....I had to run back to the car for my camera...sorry, honey!
It's not everyday you see the world's #1 Female mountain biker busting loose at the trails.
She was with a film crew, also. Check out a cool video that shows what videographers will do for a fresh angle.
