Here is a good example of Brian's couragous riding. This was taken at the Spokane WIM
finals in the Fall of 1999. During the break between the downhill and dual, Tim Arnold from
Bicycle Butler(Spokane) built a ramp for the 'big air' contest. The takeoff ramp was huge
but the landing was pretty close so it was pretty easy to overshoot it.
(Tim parked his Jeep in the gap, which was really cool)
Anyway, while most riders were landing in the darker dirt after the landing, On his Karpiel
Brian Chandler was hitting the takeoff with more speed and pulling up more......his was flying!!
